Somali Sustainable Development Organization (SOSDO) is a non-governmental development and humanitarian organization focusing on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Somalia. The organization is spearheaded by researchers, policy analysts, humanitarian and development professionals dedicated to the country’s economic, political, social, and environmental progress. SOSDO operates to alleviate poverty, climate change, and access to social services. Somali Ecological Society (SES)
SES is the first local environmental NGO in Somalia with the initial focus on conservation efforts that specify in identifying and protecting vegetation and wildlife habitats that represent natural ecotypes of Somalia and Somaliland. Some of their priorities include having safe waste and disposal, reducing plastic pollution, increasing environmental conservation curricula, promoting renewable energy, and supporting the Somali Government with funding applications for climate funds to carry out climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience actions.

Somali Youth Development Foundation (SYDF)
Somali Youth Development Foundation is the largest youth alliance of Somalia-based NGO with more than 300 members working in youth development. They are registered and operational in both Kenya and Somalia promoting and intervening in areas regarding socio-economic, cultural, democracy, environmental and humanitarian welfare through the youth and females. They aim to educate and motivate the Somalia youth, as well as promote youth activities and programs as a means to achieve sustainable development.
