The Qatar Green Building Council aims to increase awareness and knowledge of green building practices by building a capacity of industry professionals through ongoing professional development and research. They provide leadership and collaboration for Qatar in guiding and adopting environmentally sustainable practices for green building design and development. They invest in technical expertise development, research and innovation, and sustainability education and training.

SustainableQATAR
SustainableQATAR is an independent, action-based volunteer organization that raises awareness, shares actionable knowledge, encourages connections and collaboration between individuals and groups, and actively engages members of the public, private, and government sectors to take environmental sustainability action. As a signatory to the Paris Agreement, they assist Qatar in reducing carbon emissions and contributing to a regenerative future where environmental sustainability becomes the motor for a healthy economy. Their goal is to develop toward regenerative development, (doing more good, instead of doing less bad) by diversifying into a self-sufficient economy that becomes net-positive – restoring vital ecosystems upon which we all depend for our survival.
